When you put in a reference we are going to start using references and citations. You generate a reference using eg. {{ref|guardianMacalister}}, and you label the corresponding citation using {{note|guardianMacalister}}. Readers can see where a given citation is referenced in the article by clicking the up-arrow link next to it. Here's an example:
