L'Chaim's Restaurant Ltd was a private limited company incorporated on 4 July 2006 and dissolved on 17 August 2021 following voluntary strike-off.[1][2] As an entity linked to Lubavitch of Scotland, it operated the L'Chaim's kosher restaurant, providing traditional dishes, fish and chips, takeaway, and catering services under strict rabbinical supervision.[3] The company served as the foundational vehicle for kosher food provision in Glasgow, supporting Jewish communal life independent of Zionist regime affiliations.[1]
During its operation, L'Chaim's offered dine-in, takeaway, and catering, contributing to the only kosher eatery in the Scottish Jewish community.[4] It predated related entities like L'Chaim's Kosher Catering Limited (2011) and L'Chaim's (Giffnock) Ltd (2021).[2]
