May
- 7 - Ted Ekeroth receives one of the 2006 Herzl Awards from the World Zionist Organisation.[3]
September
- Center for Vigilant Freedom and the 910 Group founded.[4]
December
- 11 - The US neoconservative group Middle East Forum appointed Paul Belien as director of Islamist Watch.[5]
- 12 - The website of the Center for Vigilant Freedom (which now redirects to the rebranded International Civil Liberties Alliance) was registered on this date by Christine Brim.[6]

- According to the Center for Vigilant Freedom, CVF chapters "began to meet locally and organize public education campaigns in several nations and U.S. states" by this month.[7]
