Funding in Israel

  • FY2025 grants £1,934,864 to UK and related institutions; register areas include Israel.[2][1]

Israeli partners

Named grantees are largely UK Orthodox charities; Israel connection is via register areas and the nature of some grantees' own objects rather than a direct Israeli grant schedule.[2]

Activity beyond the Green Line and support for the IDF

Findings are graded by confidence. "Partner" findings concern the Israeli recipient organisation, not proven use of UK funds.

Evidence of activity beyond the 1949 armistice line
Finding Confidence
Not established from named grant list.[2] Low

Support for the IDF: No IDF funding is stated.[2][2]

Controversies and regulatory action

  • No Commission inquiry naming Yad Shlomo Trust itself was found.
  • Grantees in cheque-cashing inquiry. Several FY2025 named grantees appear in the Commission's May 2025 cheque-cashing inquiry press release (including Mifal Hachesed Vehatzedokoh, Friends of Beis Soroh Schneirer, Friends of Beis Chinuch Lebonos, Friends of Mercaz Hatorah Belz Macnivka and Yad Vochessed).[9] The press release does not name Yad Shlomo Trust as a subject of that inquiry.
