James Heartfield at an Audacity conference in 2002

Introduction

James Heartfield (originally born James Hughes), was born on 31 May 1961 and is an author and academic and an associate of the libertarian and anti-environmental LM network. He worked for the RCP as an 'organiser' in Islington and Manchester, has written for Living Marxism, Culture Wars, Pro-Choice Forum and Spiked, speaks at the Battle of Ideas and the Birmingham Salon and is a director of building promoters Audacity. He is married to Eve Kay-Kreizman. He has been linked to longtime LM associate Will Deighton. There has been at least one instance where they claim to be distinct and collaborators.
