Nationality filings

Three men in the 1950s cohort file American nationality at Companies House while giving an English residence and the 147 Stamford Hill stack:

• David Schreiber (born 1952) — on some historic appointments (later rows print British).
• Emanuel Schreiber (May 1956) — same pattern on the gold-era / later property IDs.
• Osias Schreiber (October 1953; officer Gb_6OBheW0-nOXMIwy1Kna_gfSA) — live rows still print American on Ripon Investments Limited (03821090, appointed 24 December 2012, 147 Stamford Hill) and YNS Investments Ltd (09245562, appointed 2 October 2014, 115 Craven Park Road).

That is consistent with missing UK birth entries for the older men and with a US childhood or dual status. It is not a naturalisation certificate and does not by itself prove the three are brothers. It does put Osias on the same address-and-nationality pattern as David and Emanuel, which is why he stays in the working sibling set with the Klein marriage (Gyta Klein, 1974) rather than as an unrelated later arrival.

Joel Schreiber (August 1979, maiden Klein) is the next generation: UK-born, later US-based (Waterbridge / WeWork). Do not treat his American career as a fourth 1950s nationality card.

1986 VAT gold trial

May 1986 press treated David as age 33 — matches an August 1952 birth. Co-principal: Emanuel Schreiber (May 1956).

The fraud type was the 1979–82 gold-coin / bullion VAT gap: coins zero-rated or exempt, bullion standard-rated; melt coins, sell bars through a missing trader who kept the 15% VAT. Treasury told the Commons in April 1982 that five such frauds then charged totalled about £23.5 million.

Gazette and cutting sequence used on the family page:

• Charge and trial coverage 1986 (David and Emanuel).
• Later bankruptcy / trustee-in-bankruptcy notices; “release of trustee” is the official end of the bankruptcy trustee’s administration, not a finding of innocence.
• Trading companies then struck off or put into insolvency (gold/jewellery vehicles first; property names later).

After discharge they reappear on property letterheads at 147 Stamford Hill — the documented transition from the gold trade into the Midos landlord stack. That is chronology, not a court finding that property assets were trial proceeds.

Business empire

147 Stamford Hill is the recurring correspondence address on this officer file and the registered office for a large block of family companies (activist counts have used “25+ Discovery Park vehicles” and “300+” companies at the building; treat those as counts to verify on CH, not as a Commission figure).

• Lakeview / Limeview — historic and 2016 dissolved pair at Bedford Row insolvency addresses.
• Discovery Park (Sandwich, Kent) — science-park landlord. Mayer Schreiber is the on-site CEO in park publicity. Freehold / head-lease vehicles have been filed with David and Rifka Niederman among directors (e.g. New Peak Properties in secondary accounts). Instro Precision Ltd, a subsidiary of Elbit Systems, is a tenant. Palestine Action targeted the Kent park (including September 2024) and smashed/painted 147 Stamford Hill on 29 May 2025 (“Drop Elbit”). Discovery Park’s spokesman told the Standard the park had “no connection” to the tenant; Companies House still shows the landlord stack and the Stamford Hill RO.

Sharp practice documented in secondary investigations (not a conviction): large numbers of units at Discovery Park listed as places of worship for business-rates relief. Repeat that as an allegation with the source; do not write it as a court finding.

Emergency-housing / local-authority temporary accommodation contracts have been attached to commercial stock in the wider family network in earlier notes; pin each contract to a named company before repeating.
