Osias Schreiber (Companies House date of birth October 1953) is a company director of 34 Jessam Avenue, Clapton, E5 9DU, and a son of Moses Schreiber. On 10 March 1974, aged 20, bachelor, company director, of 212 Upper Clapton Road, London E.5, he married Gyta Klein, aged 17, of 11 Mellalieu Crescent, Salford, at the Machzikei Hadass Synagogue. The certificate names his father as Moses Schreiber, company director, the same father and the same house as on the 7 January 1973 certificate of David Schreiber.[1][2]

He is the brother of David Schreiber (August 1952) and, in this reconstruction, of Emanuel Schreiber (May 1956). He is not named in the 1986 Old Bailey gold case against those two. He is on the same early property companies as David — Citeoffer Limited and Davos Properties Ltd — and uses 147 Stamford Hill as a correspondence address. No England and Wales birth index entry has been found for him. Age 20 in March 1974 fits an October 1953 birth outside the United Kingdom.

Family

The 1974 certificate is the parentage record. Father: Moses Schreiber, company director. Bride’s father: Avos Klein, occupation entered as company director. Secretary for marriages: J. Krausz. Index: Salford, 1974 Q1, volume 10F, page 1034.[1][3]

212 Upper Clapton Road is the house a September 1966 FBI report said Moses Schreiber had bought. The 1982 opinion records a further child of Moses born in London in December 1964, with an American Embassy birth certificate. That child is not Osias, and no matching GRO birth has been found.[4]

Jacob Schreiber (born 1936) is not his brother. That Jacob is the son of Simon Schreiber.
