The NIA - Sticky New Media Partnership

South Coast based Sticky New Media were chosen to partner the NIA in the development of the new NIA web-site following an indepth, comprehensive appraisal process that included new media agencies from across Britain.

With a brief that focused on developing features that 'enabled' the membership and provided a dedicated area for nuclear industry access to news, business and provided an online voice for the members, it was clear to Philip Owen, Partner and Webmaster at Sticky New Media, that database technology would feature heavily. The site finally includes 3 main custom databases, a links database capable of managing many thousands of URLs, several cgi flat file stock databases providing collaborative working and discussion, event and diary services.

Sticky New Media have also been awarded the contract to handle the monthly promotion and maintenance of niauk.org, including technical support, search engine submission reporting and visitor statistics monitoring, to ensure that the site continues to grow awareness and visitor traffic. The site has been planned as a series of modules and these will continue to be brought on-line in the near future, adding even more functionality and value to the site.

Sticky New Media can be contacted by telephone on 023 9273 4201, e-mail on bnif@stickynewmedia.co.uk or by visiting their web-site at http://www.stickynewmedia.co.uk/
