Graham Barnfield is an academic associated with the libertarian anti-environmental LM network through his past membership of the defunct Revolutionary Communist Party, [1] writing for Living Marxism/LM]], writing for Offence, his role as Education Officer with and fundraising for WORLDwrite, his contributions to building promoters Audacity and his articles for Culture Wars and Spiked. [2] Barnfield studied for a BA (Hons), English with Media Studies at the University of Sussex (1989-1992) and undertook a PhD in cultural studies at Sheffield Hallam University (1992 – 1996)[3]
He was born 5 November 1969 in Leicester. He received a BA (Hons) in English with Media Studies from the University of Sussex in 1992, and a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies from Sheffield Hallam University in 1996. He teaches journalism at the University of East London.
