Controversies and regulatory action
- No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[11] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[12][13][14][15] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[16]
- Undisclosed connection with a grantee. Joseph Arnold Ost is a register trustee of Ezer Bekovoid Limited (1138167) and has been an active director of the company since 7 January 2015, but the related-party note lists only the subsidiary and a £1,696 creditor (PDF p.12, 15).[3][2][17]
- Subsidiary valuation. The shares in Edan Properties are carried at £2,875,000 (2024: £2,900,000; historical cost £217,171), with fair value "determined using the net assets of the subsidiary undertaking", but the subsidiary's capital and reserves at 31 March 2024 are given as £1,377,582, and no 2025 figures for the subsidiary are shown (PDF p.13–14).[3]
