Funding in Israel

  • FY2025 grants £176,550: Bnos Zion D'Bobov Limited £30,000, College for Higher Rabbinical Studies £19,000, Tchabe Kollel £16,000, Lehachzikom £13,000, Yad Shlomo Trust £13,000, Bais Kolshin £10,000, Blooming Blossoms £10,000, British Friends of the Rabbi Meir Baal Haness Charity (Kollel Shomrei Hachomos) £10,000 and sundry grants under £10,000 £55,550 (PDF p.11).[2]

Activity beyond the Green Line and support for the IDF

Findings are graded by confidence. "Partner" findings concern the Israeli recipient organisation, not proven use of UK funds.

Support for the IDF: No IDF or military funding is stated.[2]

Controversies and regulatory action

  • No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[6] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[7][8][9][10] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[11]
  • Contradictory related-party disclosure. The trustees' report states "In the current year no such related party transactions were reported", but note 15 records that "the charity received donations of £175,000 from related parties" (PDF p.4, 12).[2]
  • Balances with connected charities. Debtors include £6,000 due from Harbo Charities Limited, of which a close family member of a trustee is a trustee, and £20,000 due from U O B H Limited, "a charity with common trustees" (PDF p.12).[2]
