The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Alcohol Harm (APPGAH) was set up 'to promote discussion of alcohol related issues and to raise issues of concern and make recommendations to government and other policy makers'. [1]
It is made up of cross-party MPs and peers sitting in the House of Lords with an interest in seeing alcohol-related harm reduced in the UK.
Its 2015 manifesto called upon political parties to commit to a range of pledges designed to tackle alcohol-related harm leading up to the May general election. [2]
