December
- 11 - The US neoconservative group Middle East Forum appointed Paul Belien as director of Islamist Watch.[3]
- 12 - The website of the Center for Vigilant Freedom (which now redirects to the rebranded International Civil Liberties Alliance) was registered on this date by Christine Brim.[4]

- According to the Center for Vigilant Freedom, CVF chapters "began to meet locally and organize public education campaigns in several nations and U.S. states" by this month.[5]
