John Conroy is a TV producer and journalist.[1] He is associated with the libertarian anti-environmental LM network, being on the management committee of WORLDwrite [2] and having spoken in a Spiked debate [3].
GM crops
He previously lived in Brazil, where he was active in lobbying the government to abandon its moratorium on genetically modified (GM) soy, which he said was based on "unknown, hypothetical risks of GM crops" raised by "media scare[s]".[4] His biographical note on the website of the Brazilian biotech association, ANBio, says:
