  • 1939 - Dr. RALPH STEEN— Miss EVA WOOLFSON The marriage of Dr. Ralph Steen to Miss Eva Woolfson will be solemnised at the Queen’s Park Synagogue, Lochleven Road, on Tuesday, May 30th, at 4.30 p.m.[1]
  • 1938 - Councillor Rosslyn Mitchell addressed a conjoint meeting of Ziona last week at the residence of Miss Eva Woolfson, 38 Mansionhouse Road. Miss Beatrice Rosefield occupied the Chair. : . Mr. Rosslyn Mitchell’s subject was “A Gentile looks at the Jewish Problem,” and in the course of his address, which was delivered with the speaker’s customary eloquence, he gave an account of the persecution and tribulations of the Jews throughout the ages. The Jewish race, he said, was the most unpopular in the world, and had always been so, as oppressions from the time of the Egyptian and Assyrjan Empires to the present day horrors now taking place in Germany, show, in spite of all their varied contributions made to civilisation and humanity.[2]
  • 1936 - GARNETHILL ZIONA At the meeting of the above group on Sunday last, Miss Eva Woolfson, who has just réturned from a visit to the United States, gave an interesting account of Zionist activities in America. Miss Woolfson visited the Zionist headquarters in New York and was very much impressed by the efficient organisation and magnificent achievments in Palestine of the Hadassah movement.[3]
  • 1936 - GARNETHILL ZIONA Miss Fanny Olswang, Chairman of Ziona Group 1., addressed the members of the Garnethill Group at a cultural meeting held on Sunday last at the residence of Miss Eva Woolfson. Miss Olswang spoke on the work of pioneer women in Palestine, of the hardships they endured, of their courage and bravery in the face of adversity, and how through their sufferings the foundations of present day Palestine had been built. Miss Olswang then read some very graphic adventures written by the women themselves, which experiences could not fail to arouse a feeling of admiration for those brave women.[4]
  • 1933 - Mrs. Ariel Bension addressed a conjoint meeting of Glasgow Ziona groups at the residence of Miss Eva Woolfson, 38 Mansionhouse Road, on Thursday, 26th March. Miss Marjorie M. Jacobs, M.A., presided.[5]
