Freda Cohen Woolfson (nee Edwards) was a Glasgow based Zionist activist.

  • 1945 - About 300 Glasgow Jewish children had a most enjoyable afternoon last Sunday at the Purim Party in the Tudor, arranged by the Glasgow Women's Zionist Organisation, under the convenership of Mrs. Lewis Bernstein. Some 70 tickets, which had been specially donated by members of the community, were allocated to children in the various Chedorim. The demand for tickets exceeded all expectations and admission had to be restricted. The Committee tenders apologies to the large number who had to be refused admission.
The entertainment side was convened by Mrs. Solly Woolfson, Mrs. Isidore Walton acted as Treasurer and Tickets Convener, while Mrs. Ben Geneen was in charge of the catering. About £90 was realised, which will be allocated to Youth Aliyah.[1]
