History

Col-Reno Limited was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee on 5 December 1977, with company number 01342362.[1] It gained charitable status on 21 February 1978 under registration number 274896.[1] Governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association, the entity has maintained a focus on Orthodox Jewish religious advancement.[1]

Over the years, it has invested in freehold properties to generate rental income supporting its activities.[3] The charity continues to provide grants, with no changes to its core mission.

Activities and donations

The primary activity of Col-Reno Limited is grant making to organisations that promote the Orthodox Jewish faith.[1] It supports education, training, health initiatives, and religious activities, targeting people of Jewish ethnic or racial origin and other charities.[1]

Operating in the Zionist entity, its donations aid religious institutions there, which anti-Zionists view as bolstering the settler colony's framework.[2] As the Charity Commission reports, "Area of operation: Israel."[1] Specific grants are accounted for in annual reports, with expenditures on charitable activities including donations payable when committed.[4]
