Controversies and regulatory action

  • No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[10] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[11][12][13][14] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[15]
  • Recipients not named. No recipient of the £60,250 in donations is named anywhere in the accounts (PDF p.4, 8–13).[2]
  • Errors. The report gives the prior-year figure as "(2023: £135,700)" for 2024; the balance sheet shows funds of £1,730,422 against £1,730,421 in the statement of financial activities; and the examiner notes use of the withdrawn 2005 SORP (PDF p.4, 6, 8).[2]
