Mishcon de Reya is a law and lobbying firm, based in London and with a New York office.

It employs more than 500 people, with over 300 lawyers offering a wide range of legal services to companies and individuals.

Controversies and high profile clients

In 2012, a partner at the firm, Kevin Steele, was jailed for five and a half years after helping a fraudster apply for a multimillion pound loan from a EFG private bank using fake documents.[1]

In 2013, Charlotte Harris, a partner at Mishcon, represented Chris Huhne in his trial for perverting the course of justice.[2]

In 2014 the firm represented Leon Brittan when he was accused of raping a 19 year old girl.[3]

In 1996 the firm and Anthony Julius in particular was chosen by Princess Diana to represent her in her divorce from Prince Charles.[4]
