History
- 1931 - Victor Mishcon & Co founded by Victor Mishcon in Brixton
- 1961 - A second office opens at 125 High Holborn with 15 employees
- 1988 - Victor Mishcon & Co merge with part of Bartletts de Reya to form Mishcon de Reya. The new firm employs 80 staff
- 1995 - Mischon de Reya merge with Brecher & Co and Rabin Leacock Lipman
- 2010 - Offices in New York opened [1]
In 1996 the firm and Anthony Julius in particular was chosen by Princess Diana to represent her in her divorce from Prince Charles.[1]
In 2012, a partner at the firm, Kevin Steele, was jailed for five and a half years after helping a fraudster apply for a multimillion pound loan from a EFG private bank using fake documents.[2]
In 2013, Charlotte Harris, a partner at Mishcon, represented Chris Huhne in his trial for perverting the course of justice.[3]
In 2014 the firm represented Leon Brittan when he was accused of raping a 19 year old girl.[4]
