The Grove Charitable Trust is a grant-making charitable trust on the register of the Charity Commission for England and Wales (charity number 279110).[1] It shares a trustee and an address with Friends of Mosdos Sanz of Safad, a charity that supports institutions of the Sanz-Klausenburg dynasty. That is the only dynasty link found on the register.
Registration
The trust was registered on 11 January 1980 and is governed by a declaration of trust dated 20 November 1979. Its address is 23 Elmcroft Avenue, London NW11 0RS. It is not recognised by HMRC for gift aid, and its reporting is up to date.[1]
Objects and activities
Its objects are to advance education in, and the religion of, the Orthodox Jewish faith, to relieve poverty, and other purposes that English law treats as charitable. The charity says it uses income from cash deposits and fixed-asset investments to make grants and donations. It makes grants to other charities throughout England and Wales.[1]

- Mr B. Bodner, appointed on 12 January 2012, who is also a trustee of Friends of Mosdos Sanz of Safad (292396), Toiba Esther Trust (290687) and North West London Chevra Kadisha (1041909). On those charities' entries he is named as Barry Bodner.
- Mr A. Denderowicz, appointed on 28 April 2004, who is also a trustee of Legadel.
- Steven Bodner, appointed on 18 December 1996, with no other trusteeships on record.
Dynasty link
The trust's own register entry names no dynasty. The link to Sanz-Klausenburg is indirect:
- its trustee B. Bodner is also a trustee of Friends of Mosdos Sanz of Safad;
- both charities give the address 23 Elmcroft Avenue, London NW11 0RS.[1][2]
This does not establish that the Grove Charitable Trust supports Sanz institutions.
