Controversies and regulatory action

  • No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[6] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[7][8][9][10] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[11]
  • No recipients named. The 24 grants totalling £46,000 are not broken down by recipient.[2]
  • Inconsistent risk statement. The risk text refers to "keeping funds on bank deposit at this time", while £595,669 is held in a managed portfolio; note 6 shows all £927,890 as "Net Current Assets". The policies cite SORP 2005 and the Charities Act 1993.[2]
