Andrew Bostom is an American professor of medicine and author of several books which have been influential in the counterjihad movement.

Activties
Primarily between 2007 and 2008, Bostom contributed articles to the magazine New English Review.[1] His work has also been published by Family Security Matters and the Gatestone Institute.
In October 2007 Bostom delivered a talk on Islamic anti-semitism at the CounterJihad Brussels 2007 conference[2]entitled The First and Last Enemy: Jew Hatred in Islam.[3]
In November 2008, Alan Johnson, who would later work for British pro-Israel lobby group BICOM, interviewed Bostom for Democratiya.[4]

Bostom reportedly attended, supported and spoke at events which gave a prominent platform to Dutch anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders during his U.S. tour in February 2009:

- On 25 February Bostom attended a screening of Wilders anti-Islam film Fitna, at which Wilders was present, held at the Ahavath Torah Congregation in Boston and co-sponsored by the Republican Jewish Coalition and the Middle East Forum's Legal Project.[7]
- On 27 February Wilders addressed a reception in his honour at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, venue for the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), an event co-sponsored by Bostom, Robert Spencer's Jihad Watch, the David Horowitz Freedom Center and Pamela Geller's Atlas Shrugs blog, according to a report on the latter. Bostom, Spencer and Geller also spoke at the event. Other attendees included right wing and counterjihad activists like Diana West, Tom Trento, Frank Gaffney and Christine Brim.[8]
