The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Food and Drink Manufacturing (APPGFDM) was founded in 2013. Its purpose is to consider issues of concern to the food and drink manufacturing industry and raise awareness of these matters in Parliament.' [1]

Activities and aims

  • Provide a forum for debate and dialogue about issues related to food and drink manufacturing
  • inform parliamentarians about the issues impacting the industry
  • 'promote the UK food and drink manufacturing sector's interests in Parliament' [2]

Purpose

The APPGFDM was set up 'with an intention to':
