Sam Lyon is a senior director at Crosby Textor.
Career
Lyon worked as director of communications and official spokesman to Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London. 'He managed all the Mayor's external affairs during the Queen's Jubilee celebrations and in the run up to the London 2012 Olympic Games'. He also worked as media director, spokesman and senior campaign advisor to Johnson during his 2012 Mayoral campaign. Johnson's campaign director was Lynton Crosby, Lyon's future boss at Crosby Textor.[1]
In 2012 he joined Crosby Textor where he 'provides senior counsel and advises on strategic and crisis communications, messaging, day-to-day media handling and media training'.
He also has experience working as a Fleet Street journalist.[2]
