Companies House lists David Reuben, born September 1938, as a director of the Reuben Foundation (company 04481304, charity 1094130) from 9 July 2002 to 3 May 2012. Since 31 July 2019 a director named Reuben David Reuben, also born September 1938, has been listed, and the Charity Commission gives the same name and date as a trustee.[1][2]
| Charity | Role | From | To | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Reuben Foundation | Director (as David Reuben) | 9 July 2002 | 3 May 2012 | [1] |
| Reuben Foundation | Trustee and director (as Reuben David Reuben) | 31 July 2019 | – | [1][2] |
In the years after the 2019 appointment, the foundation's accounts record grants to "The Association for Israel's Soldiers" – the Israeli Association for the Wellbeing of Israel's Soldiers, which supports soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces – of £1,425,032 in 2023[3] and £2,193,000 in 2024.[4]
Identity note. The two Companies House entries have different officer IDs. They share the surname, the forename David, the company and the month and year of birth, so they probably refer to the same person, but this has not been confirmed (medium confidence).
