Motcomb Estates Limited is a London property company that works for the brothers David Reuben and Simon Reuben of Reuben Brothers. Property Week described it in 2002 as the company "which invests on behalf of brothers Simon and David Reuben".[1] The group's own timeline calls it "advisors to the Reuben Brothers".[2] Companies House records that it was incorporated on 19 April 1989 as Fastzone Properties Limited and took its present name on 29 October 1993. Its registered office is 4th Floor, Millbank Tower 21-24 Millbank, London, SW1P 4QP.[3]
The Electoral Commission has recorded donations from Motcomb to the Conservative Party since 2006, and in 2024 to Priti Patel MP.[4]
History
Property Week reported in 2004 that Motcomb was set up in 1991 to look after the Reubens' property interests. It named Robin Turner, David Baker, Michael Gubbay and Anne Benjamin as members of the team and quoted the remark that "there's only one decision-maker at Motcomb and that's Simon Reuben".[5] The Companies House record gives the 1989 incorporation date for the company itself.[3]
In December 2002 Property Week reported that Motcomb had paid £115m for Millbank Tower, buying it from Tishman Speyer.[1] Its 2004 profile gave the price as £120m.[5] In October 2012 Motcomb applied for planning, listed building and conservation area consent to restore the In and Out Club and neighbouring buildings on Piccadilly, according to the Reuben Brothers timeline.[2] In January 2012 Stephane Nahum, speaking "of Motcomb Estates Limited representing Aldersgate", commented on the bid by Aldersgate Investments for Arena Leisure.[6]
