Funding in Israel

  • 2024 donations made: Kid Im Atid Tov (Israel) £305,250 (2023: £117,666); in 2023 also British Friends of United Hatzalah of Israel £156,887 (OCR, PDF p.9).[2]

Israeli partners

Kid Im Atid Tov, an Israeli public-benefit company "founded as a result of the great success of White Rock Rose charity's activity in Israel", whose activity "focuses mainly on the city of Ashkelon".[10] The 2023 recipient, British Friends of United Hatzalah of Israel, appears to be the UK charity profiled as British Friends of United Hatzalah Israel.[2]

Activity beyond the Green Line and support for the IDF

Findings are graded by confidence. "Partner" findings concern the Israeli recipient organisation, not proven use of UK funds.

Evidence of activity beyond the 1949 armistice line
Finding Confidence
Kid Im Atid Tov works mainly in Ashkelon – inside Israel's pre-1967 lines.[10] Low

Support for the IDF: No IDF or military funding is stated.[2] A board member of Kid Im Atid Tov is described on its website as a former senior official of the Shin Bet (Israel's internal security service).[10]

Controversies and regulatory action

  • No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[11] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[12][13][14][15] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[16]
  • Dispute with former Israeli accountant. The accounts say the conduit arrangement arose from "the lack of international banking facilities believed to be consequent on the circumstances of the legal case against the Company's former Israeli Accountant". In 2024 the case "was settled and over 90% of the inappropriately retained funds recovered", with the funds passed to Kid Im Atid Tov; the settlement left a deficit of £8,267 (OCR, PDF p.4–6).[2]
  • Unnamed benefactor. The charity's activities are funded by "the Company's principal benefactor", who also pays a professional charity worker in Israel directly through a local service company; the benefactor is not named (OCR, PDF p.4, 9).[2]
