Controversies and regulatory action

  • No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[5] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[6][7][8][9] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[10]
  • Trustee pay and related-party statement. Note 5 says "C Smith received remuneration of £4,000 (2024: £3,000) during the year", while note 11 says "There were no disclosable related party transactions during the year (2024 - none)." The accounts do not say what the payment was for or cite the authority for paying a trustee.[3]
  • No recipients named. Donations of £19,550 are not broken down.[3]
