Funding in Israel
- FY2025 grants £280,650: Interdisciplinary Center, Herzlia £250,000 (2024: £750,000), Orthogeriatric Research £25,000, Rotary Club of London £5,000 and Shishukunj £650; FY2024 grants also included Lifeline 4 Kidz £50,000, West London Synagogue £7,500 and the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals £6,000 (PDF p.12).[2]
Israeli partners
The Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya, now Reichman University, named in the accounts with its town (PDF p.12).[2] A UK fundraising charity for the same university, UK Friends of I.D.C. (1096858), was profiled in batch 5.[1]
Activity beyond the Green Line and support for the IDF
Findings are graded by confidence. "Partner" findings concern the Israeli recipient organisation, not proven use of UK funds.
| Finding | Confidence |
|---|---|
| The main recipient is in Herzliya, inside the 1949 armistice lines.[2] | Low – Herzliya |
Support for the IDF: The charity's own grants contain no military funding.[2] An obituary states that Sir David Garrard personally was a benefactor of Reichman University's International Institute for Counter-terrorism; the charity's accounts do not show grants to that institute.[4][2]
Controversies and regulatory action
- No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[10] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[11][12][13][14] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[15]
Other registers and records
Scotland and Northern Ireland
No entry was found on the Scottish Charity Register for this charity (register export dated 15 October 2026, downloaded 15 October 2026 and searched by name).[16] No entry was found on the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland register (API name searches returned zero results).[17]

The register records that the charity does not own or lease land or property.[1] No title registers were purchased; the HM Land Registry interactive search blocked automated access.[21]
