Funding in Israel

  • The 2014/15 and 2017 accounts describe a restricted fund, "Exodus II - Israel", as a "Fund to bless and support Jewish people, including those returning to Israel, with particular care for the poor and oppressed", and a Christians United for Israel fund "to develop a national association of pro-Israel churches to enable them to speak with one voice in support of Israel in relation to biblical issues"; the OCR of the fund tables is too poor to give reliable amounts.[16]
  • In 2022 the accounts record a £29,161 donation to John Hagee Ministries (USA) and £40,000 of "Donations to Other Charities" (2021: £40,000); no recipient of the £40,000 is named and no grant in Israel is identified (OCR).[17]

Support for the IDF: No IDF or military funding is recorded in the accounts read.[17][16]

Controversies and regulatory action

  • No Charity Commission inquiry naming this charity was found; it is not named in the 2025–2026 cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements or statement of results, and the charities in the August 2026 settlements class inquiry have not been named.[18][19][20][21][22] The register shows it as removed, giving the reason "Does not operate".[23]
  • Christians United for Israel. The 2014/15 accounts say restricted funds were reduced "due to a significant contribution to Christians United for Israel in the UK": "John Hagee Ministries provided initial funding to help establish 'Christians United for Israel', a national organisation with their first campaign 'Christians Against Anti-Semitism'", which held a launch event in London in June 2015 (OCR).[16]
  • Management company owned by a director. Day-to-day management was carried out by TLB Direct; the 2022 accounts say "The Company Secretary and Director, Des Starritt owns along with wife and sons, the business TLB Direct" (OCR).[17]
  • Payments to the US ministry. In 2022 the charity received donations of £55,587 and made a donation of £29,161 to John Hagee Ministries (USA); it also recorded £40,000 of "Donations to Other Charities" (2021: £40,000), with no recipient named (OCR).[17]
