Controversies and regulatory action

  • No Charity Commission inquiry, Official Warning or Gazette insolvency notice naming this charity was found, and its register entry shows no regulatory alert;[8] it is not among the charities named in the Commission's cheque-cashing class-inquiry announcements (May, September and December 2025) or in the September 2026 statement of results.[9][10][11][12] The charities in the Commission's settlements class inquiry (opened August 2026) have not been named, so it is not known whether this charity is among them.[13]
  • Trustee loans and unexplained debtor. Other creditors include "Feiner loans" of £102,762 repayable on demand, the balance owed to trustee S Feiner; other debtors of £200,000 (2024: £130,000) are not explained; £101,396 of unlisted investments is held outside the UK in a country not stated (PDF p.7, 9–10, 12).[2]
  • Recipients and reserves. The grants are not itemised, and the report says "The charity does not maintain a reserve policy" (PDF p.3, 6).[2]
  • Register out of date. Two trustees who the accounts say resigned on 1 October 2024 are still on the register.[2][1]
