Davis Media NY LLC is a New York digital-media company owned by its chief executive, Yoav Davis. It registered under the US Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) on 12 October 2025 (registration number 7662). It has two foreign principals: the "Government of Israel through Havas Media Group Germany" and the "Government of Israel through L.D.R.S Group LTD".[1]
Havas order
The filed Havas Media Germany order no. 82646/0, dated 29 February 2024, names the client as "LAPAM - Israel Government Advertising Agency" and the campaign as "Swords of Iron". It covers 16–31 January 2024: "Partial calculation YOAV consulting; Social Media Promotion: 8.000 USD". The exhibit describes the work as a "Hostage awareness campaign" under an agreement dated 16 January 2024.[2]
Leaders (L.D.R.S Group) subcontract
A services agreement dated 25 February 2024 is with "L.D.R.S Group LTD., an Israeli corporation with its principal place of business at Habarzel 38, Tel Aviv". Under it Davis Media was to "Participate in weekly status calls with the Moovers influencer management team". It was to manage up to ten "contracted talents", each delivering five content pieces a week. The fee was $10,000 a month, plus "a fee of 15% on all talent contract costs".[3] L.D.R.S Group trades as Leaders, an influencer-marketing agency at HaBarzel Street 38, Tel Aviv.[4] In January 2024 The Washington Post reported that a representative of Leaders offered to pay US creators to promote the Moovers app. In emails seen by the paper, the representative described its content as "endorsed by Israel's Government Advertising Agency".[5]
Registration timing
Davis Media registered some 21 months after the work began. Its registration statement reported no receipts from either principal for the period from 60 days before its obligation to register up to the date of registration.[1][2][3]
The Quincy Institute describes Yoav Davis as the founder of the Instagram account Jews of NY, which it says has nearly 200,000 followers. It reports that he "was paid $161,500 by Israel as part of a social media campaign nicknamed Swords of Iron".[6] (Critical.)
Davis Media's own FARA filings account for the $161,500. A short-form registration for Yoav Davis lists a fee of $123,500 for work for the "Government of Israel through L.D.R.S Group LTD",[7] and a second lists $38,000 for work for the "Government of Israel through Havas Media Group Germany".[8]
