Ofsted

The school has been judged Requires Improvement at successive standard inspections (including June 2016 Inadequate; then Requires Improvement in May 2018, November 2019, July 2022 and June 2024). Progress-monitoring visits followed failures to meet the independent school standards. In July 2022 quality of education was Good and behaviour and attitudes Outstanding, but personal development and leadership and management Required Improvement. A May 2023 material-change inspection found the relevant standards met after the school had exceeded its then registered number (286 on roll against a registered 250); capacity was later recorded as 300.[2][6][7]

Registration and recent inspections

At a material change inspection in May 2023, Ofsted reported that the school had "exceeded its registration requirements by 36 pupils", with 286 pupils on roll against a registered 250.[8] By June 2024 the school was registered to admit 300 pupils. Ofsted then judged it to require improvement overall: quality of education and behaviour were good, but personal development and leadership required improvement, and the school did not meet all the independent school standards. That report gave the proprietor as David Shleider and the headteacher as Rabbi Y M Katz, and said that fees were charged as "voluntary contributions".[9]
