Stand for Israel is a project of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ). According to its website the mission of the organisation is to:

inform, equip and mobilize individuals and churches to support the State of Israel through prayer and grass roots advocacy initiatives.[1]

History

Stand for Israel was launched in June 2002 at an announcement made by Republican party strategist, Ralph Reed and Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein - the founder and president of the IFCJ. Eckstein described the new organisation as the 'Christian AIPAC'.[2]
