Peter Cuthbertson is an account director at PB Political Consulting and a 2015 General Election candidate for the Conservative Party in Darlington.

Career

Whilst at university Cutherbertson completed internships with politicians Conservative MEP Nirj Deva, Republican Congressman James Sensenbrenner and Conservative MP Oliver Letwin and the TaxPayers Alliance.

After graduating, he began working in Washington DC at The Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom, The Heritage Foundation as a foreign policy researcher for director Nile Gardiner.

In 2008 Cutherbertson was appointed as a director at AmericaInTheWorld, where he worked on the project of combating global anti-Americanism.

In 2009 he began working for lobbyists Chelgate as an account executive and then account manager and in 2012 he joined lobbyists Maitland Consultancy as a consultant. He joined lobbyists PB Political Consulting in 2013 as an account director.[1]

Politics

Cuthbertson is a candidate in the 2015 General Election for the Conservative Party in Darlington[2] - a seat held by the Labour Party since 1992.[3]
