Peter Cuthbertson is a director of AmericaInTheWorld, a London based website focused on combatting anti-Americanism.[1]

Background

Cuthbertson's ConservativeHome profile gives the following background details:

Peter Cuthbertson was born in 1983 in Darlington, County Durham. While studying for his first degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) at the University of Essex, he worked part time for The Taxpayers' Alliance and was Deputy Chairman of a large Conservative Future branch.[2]

History

Immediately after graduating, he spent a year in Washington DC with the aim of learning from the American conservative movement, researching foreign policy for Nile Gardiner, Director of The Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom at The Heritage Foundation. He has also completed short internship positions in the House of Commons, the European Parliament and the US Congress.
Since returning to the UK in May 2007, Peter worked over the Summer for the Institute of Economic Affairs and has joined the Management Board of the Young Britons Foundation in the hope of encouraging other British conservatives to gain first-hand experience and training from the American conservative movement. In September 2007, he began studying for an LLB at BPP Law School in London.[3]
