The Jacobson Family Foundation Trust (EIN: 04-6836735) is a 501(c)(3) non profit foundation based in Florida. It supports a number of Jewish and pro-Israel causes.

According to Inside Philanthropy, the trust held close to half a billion dollars in assets in 2013 and disbursed more than $20 million in the same year. [1]

Regarding Israel the foundation describes its mission as to:

Build greater understanding of, support for, and affinity to Israel among thought leaders and key sectors of US population through missions, advocacy and education.
Help Israel strengthen values of Israeli society and cohesion and commitment to a vibrant Jewish state through development of:
  • Ethical, values-based, leadership.
  • Mainstream opportunities and collaborations among diverse societal groups.[2]

In 2010 the trust funded a chairmanship at the Mandel Center for the Humanities at Brandeis University.[1] The chair was named after Jehuda Reinharz, former President of Brandeis University and current President Emeritus and Richard Koret Professor of Modern Jewish History.[3]
