Edgar Miles Bronfman was a Canadian-American businessman and prominent donor to several Israel lobby groups.

In 1999 he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from U.S. President Bill Clinton.[1]

His name appeared on the list of potential Benjamin Netanyahu donors dubbed Netanyahu's Millionaires published in 2010.

He died at the age of 84 on 21 December 2013.[2]

Family

Son of wealthy Canadian philanthropist Samuel Bronfman, brother to Charles Bronfman and father of Edgar Bronfman, Jr., Matthew Bronfman and Adam Bronfman.[3]
