The All-Party Parliamentary British-Qatar Group (APPGBQG) was established to help 'foster good relations between the UK and Qatar.'[1]

The group's secretariat is the Council for Arab-British understanding, helping to finance the group's activity and providing day-to-day administration. [1]
Benefits in kind
In July 2015, the group had received (in bands of £1,500) £4,501-£6000 of benefits from the Council for Arab-British Understanding.
In March 2016, the group received (in bands of £1,500) £51,001-£52,500 from the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs to meet the cost of flights, accommodation and travel for a group visit to Qatar from 16-18 February 2016. [2]
