All-Party Parliamentary Group for Sudan and South Sudan

The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Sudan and South Sudan (APPGSSS) was formed in order 'to influence the UK government's policy and practice by promoting the cause of peace, human rights, justice and development for all the people of Sudan and South Sudan across the political spectrum in Westminster and Whitehall.'[1]

Until 2015, it was known as the Associate Parliamentary Group for Sudan and South Sudan. The groups former website says:

'[the group] is an all-party political pressure group that seeks to influence the UK Government’s policy and practice by promoting the cause of peace, human rights, justice and development for all the peoples of Sudan and South Sudan across the political spectrum in Westminster and Whitehall.'[2]

On 3 July 2015 it was registered that the following organisations had paid some financial benefits to the group:

On 22 January 2016 it was registered that CARE International had paid £2,000 in financial benefits to the group. [3]
