Katie Myler quit her role as senior media adviser to then new Labour leader Ed Miliband in November 2010. She joined Burson-Marsteller as director and senior consultant in corporate business. Burson-Marsteller is a global public relations and communications firm headquartered in New York City.
Myler is a former special adviser to two Labour secretaries of state, Andy Burnham and Jacqui Smith. [1] She also played a key role in Miliband's successful leadership campaign, acting as his press handler. Before moving into political communication, she spent a decade at GMTV as a senior producer.
