Miles Beale is the Chief Executive of the Wine and Spirit Trade Association (WSTA) one of the most powerful alcohol industry trade associations. His responsibilities include organisational strategy, public affairs, member services and public relations.
Background
Beale's appointment to the WTSA was announced in March 2012 and began in June 2012. [1] Prior to joining WSTA Beale was Deputy Director for EU and international agriculture policy at the. Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) Before that he was based in the Cabinet Office where he was deputy director for European and global issues. He has also worked in the Department for Communities and Local Government. [2]
