Ian Wright is the Corporate Relations Director for Diageo the world's largest premium alcoholic drinks company, he was appointed in 2000[1]. He leads a team of 250 global 'communications specialists'[2] who are responsible for developing and maintaining the Diageo image and maintaining relationships with corporate stakeholders. Wright is an adviser to Editorial Intelligence and a former president of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.[3] Wright is active within the Liberal Democrats and was press spokesman for Paddy Ashdown in the 1997 General Election and 1999 European Election[4].
