Ramesh Chhabra
Ramesh Chhabra was spokesman and special adviser to the UK chancellor of the exchequer George Osborne until 2015.[1]
Following the May 2015 UK general election, Chhabra resigned after five years at the Treasury. [2]
Background
After graduating from the department of Politics and International Studies at Hull University in 2002,[3] Chhabra served for eight years as press aide to Conservative MP David Davis, latterly working for Dominic Grieve.[4]
Chhabra stood for the Conservatives in Newland for the 2002 Kingston Upon Hull Council Election. Of the seven candidates, he came last with 101 votes.[5]
Chhabra quit working for Osborne after the May 2015 election - in September 2015 he was hired by the Media Team at the London Stock Exchange. [6]
