Finances
In 2010 it was revealed just £11,808 had been spent on the Mentoring Women in Business scheme and under £30,000 on a project in East Africa called Sunny Money for Women.
In the period 1 May 2008 to 31 October 2009 the foundation raised £671,348, £375,611 was spent on seven charitable causes and £258,266 was spent on permanent and temporary consultants.[1]
Bailed out by Cherie
In 2010, according to the Telegraph and Companies House, Cherie was forced to lend her own charity more than a quarter of a million pounds to balance the books. She also had to make a 'significant donation' to pay staff wages and consultants' costs which included £113,225 to the former chief executive Connie Jackson.

Donations
- In 2014 the charity received a £1 million grant from Accenture to be spread over two years to run a programme in Rwanda for 15,000 women to receive business training.[3]
- In 2013 the charity received $625,965 (£405,000) from the US Agency for International Development, a body that was under the control of Hillary Clinton, the then Secretary of State.[4]
