Joseph J Woolfson (born 1898, Gorbals, died 1987, Eastwood and Mearns, mothers' maiden name: Gerber) was a prominent Glasgow Zionist and brother of Edward Woolfson. He married Rose Woolfson (nee Lazarus) in 1924 in Milton.[1]

Sometimes referred to as Joseph Woolfson 'Junior' on account of being some 6 years younger than his relative Joseph Woolfson, who was correspondingly referred to as 'Senior'. Joseph Sr. and his family mainly lived in the West End of Glasgow, while Joseph Jr. mainly lived in the southside in Queen's Park and then in Eastwood.
