Conservative think tank donor
The Sarah Scaife Foundation is a major funder of the pro-corporate think tank, the Hudson Institute. In the Foundation's annual report for 2006, it notes that it gave $200,000 to the Hudson Institute, and $800,000 to another conservative organisation, the Heritage Foundation.[6]
Counterjihad donor
It has also been a major funder of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, which includes counterjihad activist and author Robert Spencer on its staff payroll.[7] It gave the centre USD $225,000 in 2012.[7]
The foundation gave a further grant of $6,000,000 in 24 donations to the David Horowitz Freedom Center. [8]
