Craig Jones is a former UK senior civil servant and diplomat who has been Alstom's director of government affairs since 2010.

Background
Jones was deputy director at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) from 2008-09 and at the Department of Energy and Climate Change from 2006-08.
He was private secretary to the environment minister from 1997 until 1999.
Other roles included a stint at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as first secretary in Paris, and as a team leader at DEFRA in the UK. [1]
