The Catherine Lewis Foundation, which was headed by multi-millionaire property investor David Lewis, until he died in 2011. It gave £6,500 to Civitas in 2006/7 and £25,000 in 2007/8.[1] It also funds the Israel-Diaspora Trust an organisation founded by the late Rabbi Sidney Brichto, a passionate supporter of Israel and scourge of its critics inside and outside the UK Jewish community.[2]
